This divorce between man and his life, the actor and his setting, is properly the feeling of absurdity.

Therefore, here comes eluding, and a typical act of that is hope.

Hope of another life one must “deserve” or trickery of those who live not for life itself but for some great idea that will transcend it, refine it, give it a meaning, and betray it.

Religions, beliefs, and stories derived across all age to fulfill this hope.

It is not negligible that there is a small group, or could be the majority, of people who believe in neither of the stories for hope nor the meaning of life.

..it must be said that of the thinkers who refused a meaning to life none…admitted his logic to the point of refusing that life.

A healthy and rational man must have questioned that or thought of suicide at some point in his life but somehow it went to a stop. I myself is getting closer to this type which I’d call a “walking dead”.

That’s probably a difference between philosophers and ordinary men: they never stop but keep bringing clarities to those obscures every man wonders.
